Bootlegger Coffee Company was created in 2013 by 3 best friends, Pieter Bloem, De Waal Basson & Antonie Basson. Being avid cyclists, they could never buy a coffee before 7am and so decided to make their own. The brand has now grown into multiple businesses across South Africa, offering quality coffee and a menu that will have you spoiled for choice . Each store has a carefully selected line from an AC/DC song hung on the wall in neon lights. A lot of the brand’s attitude and charisma comes from this throwback of great music and rhythm.
