Opening Date: Depended on Governments risk adjustment approach

Once given the green light to reopen, the Two Oceans Aquarium will implement the following protocols:

Visitation will be restricted to 50% capacity based on available public space.
It will be compulsory for all staff and visitors to wear a mask at all times.
Online ticket purchases will be encouraged, and contactless payment options will be available.
Hand sanitiser will be freely available throughout the building.
Feeding presentations, Adventure Diving, Penguin Experiences and Guided Tours will be temporarily suspended.
The I&J Children’s Play Centre will be closed, with puppet shows moving to the Auditorium where physical distancing can be ensured.
Increased cleaning activities will pay special attention to high-touch areas.
Signage and regular announcements will remind visitors to observe the golden rules.
The Aquarium’s conferencing facilities will reopen with a maximum capacity of 50 pax.
