V&A Marina Services & Facilities
Situated at the foot of Table Mountain in South Africa’s top tourist destination lies the newly developed V&A Yacht Marina. The V&A Yacht Marina is situated inside a protected harbour environment and offers the cruising visitor a berth and a host of services and facilities in the Waterfront Precinct. The maximum length of yacht marina berths are 12m (36 foot), only two 30m (100 foot) berths are available. Yacht and Power Cruisers over 30m (100 foot) should enquire about a berth 3 months in advance. These craft can also be docked in the Victoria Basin or Alfred Basin on ship berths. Protective fendering is required and can be hired in, as an additional cost to the yacht or boat owner.

Arrival and Departure Procedures
On Approach
Call Cape Town Port Control on VHF Ch 14, request permission to enter V&A Waterfront stating intention of entering the V&A Marina. On rounding breakwater, call the V&A Swing Bridge on VHF Ch 71 or phone +27 (0)21 408 7700, request opening of Swing Bridge and lifting of the Bascule Bridge to enter the Yacht Marina.
Once Alongside On Arrival
Check in at Marina Yacht Office. Check in all crew in person at Customs/Immigration, located within the city.
On Departure
Receive clearance letter from Marina Controller or Waterfront Harbour Master before clearing at Customs and Immigration
