The Sunflower Fund is hosting a variety of entertainment at the V & A Waterfront Amphitheatre on

Saturday 19th September 2009 from 10h00 to 16h00.  Mc Nikki Jackman and well-known artists eg Coda, Crimson, Verity and The Shades and Heideveld Marimba Band  will entertain the public with their music and  Black Noise will treat the public to their Wrap and Hip Hop dancers. For those interested motor cyclists fans come and see the arrival of The KTM Bikers who will be joining in the fun at 13:00 wearing  their bandanas and making a grand entrance.    Bearemy Bear, Terminator the  Seal, Silver the Shark, Donovon the Mime Artist  and Jimi the Clown will be there to  entertain the children.  There will be loads of entertainment ,prizes and fun for all.

We encourage all South Africans to purchase a Bandana and wear it to work or school on NATIONAL BANDANA DAY 14 OCTOBER 2009. Bandanas can be purchased from any Pick n Pay store for R20-00.

This year’s bandanas come in 5 shades, orange, pink, blue, green and black all on white backgrounds.

The Sunflower Fund aims to recruit donors to become Bone Marrow Stem Cell donors to join the SA Bone Marrow Registry in support of those suffering with leuakaemia and other life-threatening blood diseases.  To date the registry has  64 000 donors.
