He is recognized in the South African music industry as one of the finest musicians in the acoustic genre. Originally from Cape Town, Dixon launched his career by playing his first gig back in 2002 as support act for Henry Ate. No less than a year later Dixon has played his first major festival, the Oppikoppi Easter Show with great response from the audience. Dixon has just finalized recording his first, much anticipated album at Dockyard Studios. He has just returned from a very well received tour of Belgium and will be returning to Europe later in 2009.
