The first internationally-acclaimed Khoi opera singer in South Africa, Cecil has performed in Belgium, New York and Boston. He was also nominated as the best vocalist at the annual Cape Minstrel competition for 7 consecutive years, an achievement not repeated to date. Locally, he performs with the Cape Philharmonic Orchestra and is referred to as South Africa’s own Pavarotti
