(alongside Ferryman’s Pub) and the Waterfront Information Kiosk in Victoria Wharf, are conveniently located to serve and welcome local and international visitors. The V&A Waterfront recognises the contribution of tourism to our economy and is constantly striving to keep abreast of developments within the industry. We have joined forces with Cape Town’s five other major tourist attractions to form the so-called "Big Six." These are Kirstenbosch National Botanical Institute, Table Mountain National Park, Robben Island Museum, Table Mountain Aerial Cableway and Constantia Vineyard.

We work closely with other tourism bodies, including the South African Tourism Services Association (SATSA), the South African Association for the Conference Industry (SAACI), Cape Town Tourism, as well as Cape Town Routes Unlimited (CTRU).

The V&A Waterfront is proud to be involved with the Welcome Campaign, a South African Tourism initiative aimed at encouraging South Africans to be sensitive to the needs of international travellers, promote local tourism and foster a sense of pride in the environment.

The V&A Waterfront is represented by our tourism team at a number of annual international and local trade shows including the Argus Cycle Tour Expo (Cape Town), Meetings Africa (Johannesburg), Outdoor Expo (Johannesburg), Indaba (Durban), ITB (Berlin) and World Travel Market (London).

Promotional Packages
During the course of the year Waterfront Tourism hosts a number of promotional packages. These include Winter and Tourism Month Promotions as well as the "Kids R Kings". These packages are sold from the Waterfront Information Centre and Information Kiosks.

School Promotions
Discounted rates are available to school groups wishing to visit various leisure attractions at the V&A Waterfront. Please contact Rozitta de Villiers on info@waterfront.co.za or (021) 408-7600 to make a booking and to discuss a tailor-made tour, suitable for your learners.

Waterfront Site Inspections
Walking tours are conducted based on your specific interests be it from a historical view point, leisure attractions, conference venues, hotels etc. A guided club car tour, for groups smaller than six, may also be requested.
