The picturesque V&A Waterfront will once again host the show’s water exhibits. Visitors will be able to see the largest selection of catamarans, power boats and accessories at one event in South Africa. There will also be a water taxi service available, which will run between the Cape Town International Convention Centre and the V&A, the cost of which is included in your admission fee. Cape Town is their stopover for the third leg of their tour. Meet the skipper and crew who have endured the 40 000 mile race around the globe before and send farewells as they head for Australia on the 4 November. Other stops in their tour include Singapore, Taiwan and America.</div><div> </div><div>Oceana Power Boat Club Opening Cruise<br>3 November<br>Venue: Oceana Power Boat Clubhouse<br>Contact: 021 419 1322</div><div> </div><div>A sail through the V&A Waterfront will serve as the official opening of the summer season. The day will also see teams from two Western Cape schools race as well as a fun charity race amongst educational stakeholders. Above all of these events, there will be also be demonstrations with the Western Province Life Saving – including NSRI and Shark Spotters. SANCCOB will be live streaming their penguin release on African Penguin Awareness Day, the 12 October. You will also have the chance to meet SANCCOB’s brand ambassador at the V&A amphitheatre.
