- Exit the V&A Waterfront at the Main Gate (Coen Steytler Entrance)
- Turn left at first traffic light (EASTERN BOULEVARD)
- Move immediately into the right lane and follow M3 MUIZENBERG signs
- Continue on M3 past the University until KIRSTENBOSCH sign (approx 12km)
- Turn right at first traffic light (Rhodes Avenue)
- Entrance to Kirstenbosch will be on the right (approx 1.5km)
