2015-05-30T22:00:00Z8Zeitz MOCAA: PAVILION EXHIBITIONSOpen Wednesday – Sunday 12 – 8 PM, Closed Monday and Tuesday This exhibition will present the first donations to the permanent collection of Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa and includes works by David Brown, Deborah Bell, Edson Chagas, Hasan and Husain Essop, Isaac Julien, Michele Mathison, and Jody Paulsen, amongst others. These works will form the nucleus of the Zeitz MOCAA Collection that will open in the historical grain silos in 2017. ​Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA) is a public not-for-profit cultural institution that focuses on collecting, preserving, researching, and exhibiting cutting edge contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora. The museum will open in 2017 in the Silo District of the V&A Waterfront.
