The Quarterdeck Restaurant is situated inside a section of the old Breakwater Prison that dates back to the 1800’s. Sections of the building’s original walls have been left exposed and historic prison bars still cover some of its windows. In the evening the lighting in and around the venue gives all its patrons the feeling of warmth and comfort.

FOOD: Chef Craig Paulse cooks up traditional Cape Malay dishes. Some of the best sellers being the Pienang Curry, Boerewors and Chops Curry and the Bobotie.  For dessert there’s classical South African favorites such as Malva Pudding, Sago Pudding and Cape Brandy Pudding

DRINKS:  A Selection of South African Wines and a variety of Spirits to suite every palate.

THE ULTIMATE: The Chef’s Feast takes you on a culinary journey through Cape Malay cooking, comprising of a range of the chef’s favourite dishes as presented as a set menu.
