How do I book a wheelchair and how much does it cost?
Should you wish to pre – book a wheelchair, please contact Waterfront Information on 021 408 7600 or alternatively book directly via the Waterfront website on www.waterfront.co.za. There is no cost involved for the wheelchair, however a refundable deposit of R50.00 will be required.
I would like to book a trip to Robben Island. What are the times and costs involved and can I pre–book?
The ferries depart every hour, on the hour from 09h00am – 15h00pm. The costs are R150.00 for adults and R75.00 for children under 17 years. You can pre–book by calling Robben Island booking office on 021 419 1300. (The trip is 3 hours including the boat trip to and from the island as well as a guided walking and bus tour).

There is no PostNet in the V&A, but we do have a Post Office. It is situated on the First Floor of Victoria Wharf, opposite Clicks.

Yes, we have two The Waterfront Pharmacy and The Table Bay Pharmacy. Inside Clicks there is also a Dispensary.

How would I go about reclaiming my VAT back?
The VAT office is situated on the second floor of the Clock Tower Centre. In order to complete the paper work, you would need to produce all your invoices, passport as well as confirmation of flight details. The operating hours are: Monday to Saturday 09h00am – 17h30pm; Sundays 10h00am – 17h30pm.
How do I go about getting a permanent and / or a temporary disabled disc?
For a permanent disabled disc you would need to go to the nearest traffic department where all the papers would need to be completed. However, should you wish to visit the Waterfront and would need a temporary disabled disc, please visit the information kiosk (outside Sweets from Heaven on the ground level or the Waterfront Information Centre on the first floor of the Union Castle Building).
I have lost an item. I called the Waterfront Information Centre and it was confirmed that the item was handed in to the information kiosk. How do I go about claiming the item back?
In order for you to claim the item, you would need to complete a claim form, (available at Waterfront Information) and would need to produce your identity document.
I need to purchase gift vouchers. Which denominations do they come in?
The gift vouchers are in denominations of R20.00, R50.00, R100.00 and R200.00.
I don’t have any cash on me, can I pay with my credit card?
When purchasing gift vouchers with a credit card, positive identification has to be produced; either an I.D document or driver’s license.
I’ve heard about a city bus tour, a hop on, hop off bus. What time does it leave the Waterfront, where do I catch the bus and how much does it cost?
The bus leaves from outside The Two Oceans Aquarium starting at 09h30 until 15h30 in the afternoon, departing every 40 minutes.
Ticket prices are R120.00 for adults and R60.00 for children under 12.
There are two bus routes, The Red Route and The Blue Route; the Blue goes as far as Hout Bay and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens allowing you to stop at any of the stops and allowing you back on the bus when the following bus arrives. The Red Route goes as far as Table Mountain, once again allowing you to get off and go up to the mountain with the cable car
