V&A Waterfront's Victoria Wharf Food Court starts its spectacular overhaul

Cape Town’s premier retail, leisure and commercial destination, the V&A Waterfront, has started its R35-millon food court rejuvenation project in its flagship shopping centre, the Victoria Wharf.

While our existing fast food eateries will be closed during the refurb, visitors will still be able to enjoy a choice of casual eateries and specialist food outlets not affected during the refurbishment, these include: Ocean Basket, Spur, Gelato Mania, San Marco and Kauai.

The refurbishment is expected to transform the Victoria Wharf Food Court into one of the best Food Court designs, layout and settings in the world, allowing diners to enjoy spectacular views of Cape Town’s vibrant working harbour, the amphitheatre and Table Mountain, one of the world’s natural wonders.

It will optimise the unique positioning of the Victoria Wharf’s quality fast food offering and ensure optimal use of space by creating a free flow natural indoor-outdoor communal dining area.

The refurbished food court will reopen in November 2012.

The V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre will be upgraded during the renovation process.  Visitors can still enjoy a line of up entertainment and exciting events usual during refurbishment period.
